Summary:
The show revolves around Kamiyama Satoru (Sakurai Sho), Honma Toshio (Yokoyama Yu) and the rest of the trivia show's staff. The contestants are chosen beforehand by a guide (Sasai Eisuke) who informally hands out the game's invitation and acceptance will entirely be on the contestant's choice. "The Quiz Show" is actually a trivia game show wherein the contestants are to give seven correct answers to win 10million yen. However, the show also has a final question which is called"Dream Chance" and if the question is answered correctly, the contestant will have their wish, whatever it is, granted by the TV Network. The game usually starts with innocent, general knowledge questions but gradually plunges into revealing the contestant's personal affairs and/or hideous past which they tried to hide from the public. The contestants are now in a hotseat, given the decision to either reveal/confess their guilt to the public, winning their "Dream Chance", or to lose everything but save their faces.

Kamiyama Satoru, the show's host also have a mysterious past. Before becoming the show's host, Kamiyama had an accident, leaving him in a coma stage for six years and caused him to have amnesia. It was Honma Toshio, the show's director, who tended to his needs and forces him to remember what happened to him in the past.

Rating: 8/10

Review:Personally, I can say that this is a new take on the usual Japanese drama (J-Dorama) series that I usually watch. The drama series gives you an entire different since it's like you're watching a trivia game show but in reality, you are watching a drama series.

For me, the highlight of each episode is the actual trivia game scenes wherein the contestants are drove into a blind corner, revealing their pasts. Each of the contestants revealed their inner thoughts and desires as they either back out from the game or reveal their true nature and get their prize. Kamiyama's phrase "Anata no subete wo shite imasu", literally translated as "I know everything about you", adds additional pressure to the contestants as they try to decide whether to push for the goal or weasel their way out of the game. Honma's character added a huge impact into the story by acting as a devious director.

In all, I give the writer of the series a"Kudos" for a job well done. I really got into the drama and it gives me something to watch out for in every episode. The mysterious past between Kamiyama and Honma keeps the viewers glued to their seats as the drama reveals bits and pieces of it in every episode. The contestants also play a vital role in their pasts' revelations which are also shown the succeeding episodes. The drama was able to show the real hearts of various types of people. It expresses that people, no matter how fragile, perfect, imperfect or popular they are, will always have something they want to hide and soon, that "something" is needed to be revealed in order to push through with your goals and dreams. It's a "make or break" decision that will layout the path and plan of an individual's life and future.

For those who are looking for a unique genre when it comes to series and dramas, I highly recommend this one.
